Each diary is priced at only $3.

Meals-on-Wheels for Children

"Hungry No More" 

 

Meals-on-Wheels for Children provides free nutritious dinners from Mondays to Fridays, to children from low-income families at their school or Social Service Centres. If the need arises, meals will also be distributed to individual families. Meals will be freshly prepared on a daily basis at the YWCA Outram Centre.

The YWCA Kids’ Club is to provide a more holistic approach to help the existing recipients from the Meals-on-Wheels for Children programme, The club aims to help needy and disadvantaged primary school children aged between 5 to 12 realise their potential through social, emotional and moral support.

Sustenance for Families

 

Sustenance for Families is a dry rations distribution project. The project targets low income families who do not qualify for public assistance. With the rising costs of living, these families often have to make difficult and painful decisions such as choosing between paying their utility bills or buying food for the family or even replacing a set of worn-out uniform for their children. In some cases where the frail and sick elderly live alone, they are not able to take care of their household choses and requre help to clean their homes.
