We welcome you and your friends to join us in this meaningful one hour lunch-time outreach organised by the YWCA Christian Growth and Care Sub-Committee on every last Monday of the month at the YWCA Fort Canning Lodge.
Come and be refreshed by the worship and message delivered by our invited guest speaker, Pastor Janet Yan. Pastor Janet is the church pastor of Abundant Life Baptist Church. She is passionate in preaching God’s Word and making disciples for Jesus Christ. Her purpose in life is to influence people to know Christ and to do His will.
Kids’ Club in June
Our Kids’ Club schedule of programmes for June is out! Bring your family and friends to participate, or better still, join us as a volunteer to befriend and enjoy these exciting activities with our children.
Help us Complete our Youth Centre!
YWCA Youth Centre officially opened on 01 March 2013 for youths between the ages of 13 -18 years old. The objective of this centre is to reach out to youths living around the vicinity. These youth will have a sanctuary to hang out, relax, and make new friends.
Cake Making Class (POSTPONED)
Always dreaming of the buttery aroma or the sweet and fluffy melt in your mouth feeling of cakes? Dream no further, learning to make a cake is a simple and fun project that is easy to master. The next time you dream about a cake, make it instead!
This is a beginner’s class on cake making. It will be conducted by our YWCA volunteers who enjoy baking and cooking as their passion and hobby. You will learn to master two recipes:
- Pandan Chiffon Cake
- Chilled Cheese Cake
There will also be opportunities for food tasting after the class. All proceeds from the cake making lesson will be used to support the YWCA’s community projects such as the Meals On Wheels, Sustenance for Families and the Youth Centre.
